UPCOMING FEE CHANGE NOTICES Layla Care clients: Layla Care is increasing their fees as of October. They are notifying all clients.

Please note that the Psychologists Association of Alberta recommended a fee change in January 2025. I have opted not to increase my private pay clients until January 1, 2026 to this recommended fee of $235 per session. Notice is being provided as of September 2025. This will impact both my community referral clients as well as my Edmonton Police clients.

NOTE: Typical hours available: Mondays 9:30 AM-3 PM, Tuesdays 9:30-4 PM, Weds 10:30 - 6 PM, Thursdays 10:30-4:30 PM and Fridays 9:30-4PM.

**SUMMER HOURS: Please note that some early evening appointments on WEDNESDAYS are now temporarily available during the summer, early fall months. **

90 minute (80 minute in session) appointments are now available for couples clients or EMDR clients to book at their own discretion.

If you are a client who has not been seen in 3 months or more please contact me by telephone (587-984-5253) prior to booking to discuss re-opening your file or alternate options

Frequently asked question: HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO ATTEND THERAPY? Weekly sessions are recommended as a standard starting point, especially early in therapy. Bi-weekly therapy sessions can also be helpful. Monthly therapy may be more appropriate for maintenance, cost or access reasons. Please chat with your therapist about what works best for you and also increases your chances for a successful outcome.

In-Clinic Counselling

Psychologists study normal and abnormal mental states, cognitive and emotional, and social processes and behavior by observing, interpreting and recording how individuals related to each other and their environments. Psychologists often provide counselling.

Please note that alternative options may be provided if what you are looking for does not fall in the area of the psychologist's competence or if the practice is currently full. High conflict divorce cases are not accepted at this practice. The psychologist will call you at the tim eof the booking.
